Its location was convenient and fantastic, very close to motorway and Moffat, the mountains, and the highlands. It had incredibly large bed, views of the rolling green hills of Dumfries & Galloway. The owner showed us the property.

The location of this quaint cottage is ideal, with beautiful countryside and a charming town nearby. The house itself is cozy and tastefully furnished, with a fantastically comfy bed and bed linen. The owners have taken eco-friendly measures, providing toiletries and limited central heating. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it the perfect getaway. The property also offers separate parking and an outside area for guests to enjoy.

The noise insulation between rooms and the main house could be better.

We had a wonderful stay at The Green House. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the property had a unique and charming character. The small private outdoor patio was a perfect spot to relax, and the location near Moffat provided access to lovely walks and independent shops. The owners were prompt in responding to our questions and the kitchen was well-equipped. a fantastic getaway with all the amenities we needed.

We loved the real character and homely feel of the Green House. the cottage was extremely well equipped with quality items and had comfortable beds. the lovely area to sit out in and great walking nearby were a bonus. the hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Highly recommend it.

A perfect location for attending a wedding at a nearby castle. Keys were conveniently left in the cottage door and the heating was already on, making for a warm welcome. the owners were friendly and genuinely cared about ensuring a pleasant stay. the cottage itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. the surrounding scenery was breathtaking, and the outdoor seating provided a lovely spot to enjoy meals. the comfortable beds guaranteed a great night's sleep.

The weather could have been better to fully enjoy the outdoor seating area. the second bedroom was a bit snug, but the comfortable bed made up for it.

The lack of sound insulation between rooms and the main house was a slight inconvenience, as it caused some disturbance.

The Green House At Tathhill in Beattock - a charming, compact property with modern facilities. Self check-in was easy. Comfortable beds, well-equipped and functional. Friendly pub nearby with helpful locals. Delightful town of Moffat with shops and walks. Prompt response from owner. Book it ASAP!

Fantastic location for a nearby wedding venue. Wished we had booked longer. Great access to Moffat and plenty to keep you amused. Keys were already in the door and heating on. Lovely owners who care about your stay.

The scenic view in the photo isn't what you see from the annexe. Noise from the nearby motorway is audible on the patio.

The location was ideal, just a short 5-minute drive from the motorway, yet surrounded by beautiful countryside. the cottage itself was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the outdoor seating area was lovely, perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. the gardens were also a highlight, with wild flowers, shrubs, and a charming little pond to explore.

The view from the annex was not as scenic as shown in the photo, although we were able to walk to the owner's house to see it. there was some noise from the nearby motorway, which was audible when sitting on the patio.
